Kenny Miller has agreed personal terms with Cardiff City
Cardiff City say they expect to sign Kenny Miller from Turkish side Bursaspor on Friday after the Scotland striker passed a medical.
The Championship club met Bursaspor's asking price on Wednesday, believed to be in the region of £800,000.Rangers were also keen to bring him back to Glasgow, but were reluctant to offer more than the £400,000 they received after selling him in January.
Miller, 31 scored five goals in 15 appearances for Bursaspor last season.
He failed to settle in Turkey and met Bursaspor's directors in early July to gauge whether they would be willing to sell him.
"He's passed his medical and we're just waiting on documentation for the transfer to go through," said Cardiff manager Malky Mackay.
"He's an experienced player, a leader, he's someone who is a proven goalscorer and also someone who leads the line very well.

Mackay have also revealed he has made enquires with Nottingham Forest over the availability of centre-back Luke Chambers.
The 25-year-old, voted Forest's player of the year last season, recently voiced his concerns over the number of players to have left the squad during the close season.
Since succeeding Dave Jones as Cardiff boss in June, Mackay has signed Robert Earnshaw, Craig Conway, Aron Gunnarsson, Filip Kiss, Don Cowie and Joe Mason.
But Scotsman said the recruitment drive has not yet run its course.
"We still need to fill the squad up," said Mackay.
"Twelve players left in the summer and at the moment we're relying on four or five of our first-year professionals to supplemet the squad.
"So we certainly need to bring another couple of players in."
